The annual event honoured RSEZ companies for their achievements in entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainability, collaboration, and contributions to the region’s economic growth. The event brought together entrepreneurs, local government representatives, business partners, and guests to look back on the achievements of 2025 and to acknowledge companies whose activities have made a significant contribution to the development of Rēzekne and the Latgale region.

We are proud to announce that “New Fuels” RSEZ SIA received an award in the “Business Partner of the Year” category and was also named “Medium-Sized Company of the Year”.

“NewFuels” RSEZ SIA received the “Cooperation Partner of the Year” award in the following categories:

2nd place in the nomination “Product of the Year”

2nd place in the nomination “Socially Responsible Company”

3rd place in the nomination “Employer of the Year”.

Also “NewFuels” RSEZ SIA received a certificate of honor for the high 2nd place in the nomination “Enterprise of the Year” in the group of large / medium commercial enterprises.

“Energy Resources CHP” was awarded 3rd place in the nomination “Enterprise of the Year” in the group of small commercial enterprises and 2nd place in the nomination “Socially Responsible Company”.

In addition to the above, Roman Vdovychenko, the Chairman of the Board of both enterprises, was presented with a Gratitude from the Minister of Economy Ilze Indriksone “For active participation in the work of the Rezekne Special Economic Zone”.

Undoubtedly, it is worth noting that such high awards can only be obtained as a result of coordinated work of the team.

Sports Department of Rezekne City Council, represented by Aleksey Grehov, issued a Letter of gratitude for the Contribution to the development of sports in Rezekne in 2021 to “NewFuels” RSEZ SIA and “Energy Resources CHP” RSEZ SIA.

Football Academy of Rezekne/Children and Youth Sports school presented memorable prizes to Roman Vdovychenko, and, in turn, a set of soccer balls was presented to the team.

Rezekne became the first non-capital city in Latvia where such an Inflatable Football Dome was built.

Within the framework of the annual competition “Prize of the Year 2020 for Entrepreneurship Societies of the Rezekne Special Economic Zone (Rezekne SEZ)” the most successful commercial enterprises of the Rezekne SEZ were awarded at the solemn online event on November 12. The competition “Prize of the Year of Commercial Societies in Rezekne SEZ” is organized with the aim of evaluating and rewarding the most successful commercial companies of Rezekne SEZ, as well as their products and services, based on the results of their activities over the past year.

“NewFuels” RSEZ SIA received Letter of appreciation as “Socially Responsible company” and “Energy Resources CHP” RSEZ SIA for the 2nd place in the nomination “Socially Responsible Company”.

Along with the high mark for getting the first place, our company also received the award “Annual prize of the year of commercial enterprises of the Rezekne RSEZ 2019”.

This award marks us as the most successful commercial enterprise of the Rēzekne SEZ, as well as our contribution to the development of the Rēzekne SEZ.
